You Can Help

"Neighbors Helping Neighbors"

Volunteers make up the heart of our organization. RCAM cannot do the work that we do without the assistance of volunteers. Some of the tasks volunteers have taken on include: lending a hand one day a week to assist us with clerical work, transport clients to medical appointments, supervise workgroups as they repair homes in the area, assist RCAM with computer skills and to promote the RCAM to the public.

Volunteers also sit on our Board of Directors. These volunteers set policies and procedures, and help to steer the agency towards its goals and mission.

Financial Support

The RCAM welcomes your Tax deductible support in the form of individual donations, bequests, planned gifts, and memoriam. We also accept good, useable donations in the form of shelter materials such as bedding, kitchen wares, laundry and cleaning supplies and selected furnishings, office supplies, building materials and supplies, diapers and infant furniture are also accepted.

For more information on donating please contact RCAM.

Volunteer Opportunities

Clerical Assistant: If you have a few hours a week to assist with answering phones, taking messages and general office aid, we need you. Must be cheery and personable!

Volunteer Drivers:  Do you have a few hours a week to drive elderly/low income clients to various medical and other appointments? We are in the process of building a roster of volunteers willing to assist with transporting people. You must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a clean driving record.

You can also volunteer your time with one or more of our services. To learn more about what we do visit our "Services" section of this web site.
