Mission

" Helps people who need services to access the right resources to meet their highest possible level of self-sufficiency by identifying needs, helping to set priorities, providing information and encouraging progress." 

The Homelessness Prevention Services Program helps families stay in their homes. We help to prevent evictions, we may pay rent deposits or help to prevent a disconnection in electric service. We work with other agencies to help prevent homelessness. Clients must follow criteria before they can receive assistance from the RCAM. This program offers a helping hand by providing information and making referrals to other agencies. We supply information about resources such as Food Bank contacts in the area and where to find clothing and furniture. We also make referrals within our own agency.
